The iQOO Neo 8 series is scheduled to be launched on May 23, with the vivo brand confirming the introduction of the first-ever Pro model in the Neo lineup. This Pro version is expected to feature Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), as indicated by leaked images, suggesting it may be the only phone in the series with this camera capability.
Recently shared images on Twitter unveiled two phones, supposedly the iQOO Neo 8 and the iQOO Neo 8 Pro. Notably, only the latter bears the inscription “OIS” on the back, while the former has “Neo” in that spot.
These images also reveal that the camera module will have a rectangular shape and will not span the entire width of the phone body. Both the Neo 8 and Neo 8 Pro will sport triple-camera setups, although the functionality of the third camera remains uncertain, possibly serving as a depth sensor or macro lens, thus leaving two cameras for primary usage.
Limited information is available regarding the non-Pro version at the moment. However, the Pro variant is rumored to come equipped with a Dimensity 9200+ chipset and has already received certification for 120W charging. With the launch just eight days away, we anticipate further details to emerge soon.
