Apple is strategizing to shift its MacBook and iPad series toward OLED displays in the forthcoming years. A fresh report from ETNews delves deeper into the next iteration of the iPad mini. As per the report, Apple intends to introduce single-stack LTPS OLED screens in its seventh-generation iPad mini and iPad Air models by 2026. Specifically, the iPad mini is anticipated to adopt a larger 8.7-inch display, an upgrade from the current model’s 8.3-inch screen.
Rumors suggest that Apple will initiate its transition to OLED screens on the iPad series with the 2024 iPad Pro 11” and 13” models. The Pro iPads are expected to feature LTPO panels, while the mini and Air versions will incorporate LTPS OLED displays.
