Following their unveiling in China, Huawei’s P-series and foldable flagship smartphones are now making their way to the European market. However, only the P60 Pro from the P-series will be available, with the Mate X3 set to launch later this month. The Huawei P60 Pro is now available in Europe and the UK, offering two configurations: 8GB RAM with 256GB storage for €1,200/£1,200, and 12GB RAM with 512GB storage for €1,400/£1,300.
Customers have a choice between two color options. The Black variant features a soft-touch finish, while the Rococo Pearl variant incorporates natural mineral pearl powder, creating a Mother of Pearl appearance. It’s worth noting that in the UK, the 8/256GB model is available only in Black, while the 12/512GB model is available only in Rococo Pearl.
The Huawei P60 Pro will be initially available through Huawei’s online store, and starting from May 22, it will also be sold by select retailers. For customers in the UK, Huawei has a special offer: Those who purchase the P60 Pro from the Huawei online store by June 5 will receive a free Huawei Watch GT 3 (subject to availability). Additionally, those who opt for the 512GB version will receive a £100 voucher to spend in the store.
As for the Huawei Mate X3, it is set to launch in Europe on May 22 and in the UK on May 26, with pre-orders starting today. Similar to the P60 Pro, the Mate X3 will be available through Huawei’s online store and select retailers.
The Mate X3 offers a single configuration, priced at €2,200/£2,000. Customers who purchase the Mate X3 from the Huawei Store in the UK by June 5 will receive a free Huawei Watch GT 3 (subject to stock availability). Color options for the Mate X3 include Black (glass with a soft-touch finish) and Dark Green (vegan leather).
Notably, the Mate X3 has received dual 5-star ratings from Switzerland’s SGS for its screens, with the Kunlun glass protecting the cover display and the impact-resistant foldable display both receiving top marks for drop resistance.
Both the P60 Pro and Mate X3 will come pre-installed with EMUI 13.1 and rely on AppGallery for their software needs. Huawei claims that AppGallery, with 580 million global monthly active users and 6 million registered developers, is the world’s third-largest app store.
