The Honor X50 has been officially unveiled, featuring a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset, a 108MP primary camera, and a 5,800 mAh battery with 33W charging. Additionally, there’s another variant called the X50i, which offers a 90Hz LCD display, a Dimensity 6020 chipset, and a 100MP primary camera.
The X50 showcases a curved 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1,200 x 2,652 pixels and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. At the top, there’s a centered punch hole cutout housing an 8MP front-facing camera. On the back, you’ll find the aforementioned 108MP primary camera with an f/1.75 aperture, accompanied by a 2MP depth sensor.
Powering the device is the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset, supported by up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. The phone is equipped with a 5,800 mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. It runs on MagicOS 7.1, based on Android 13. The X50 is IP53 water and dust resistant and is available in black, blue, orange, and gradient colors.
The starting price for the Honor X50 is CNY1,399/PKR53897.23, which gets you the 8GB/128GB variant. The highest configuration, featuring 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, is priced at CNY1,999/PKR77012.55. Open sales in China will commence on July 14.
Compared to the X50, the Honor X50i offers slightly toned-down specifications. It features a flat 6.7-inch LTPS LCD display with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,388 pixels and a 90Hz refresh rate. The device is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6020 chipset and comes with options of 8GB or 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The primary camera is a 100MP sensor with an f/1.9 aperture, accompanied by a 2MP depth lens.
The X50i runs on MagicOS 7.1, based on Android 13, and is equipped with a 4,500 mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. It is available in black, blue, pink, and gradient colors. The starting price for the X50i is CNY1,379/PKR53126.72for the 8GB/256GB variant, while the 12GB/256GB version is priced at CNY1,679/PKR64684.38.

Based on a leaked image shared by the tipster Digital Chat Station, it has been revealed that the Honor X50 series will be powered by a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 platform. This platform is built on the 4nm process and features an octa-core CPU with a peak clock speed of 2.2 GHz.
According to the brand’s announcement on its Weibo page, the Honor X50 will serve as a commemoration of the ten-year anniversary of the X series products. Leaks have indicated that this new smartphone will boast a large display with 2.5D curved edges and a resolution of 2652 x 1200 pixels.
