Today is an important day for Honor, as the company acquainted the X6 with the English market, and sent off another smartphone in China – the Play 40 Plus 5G. This new phone accompanies a Dimensity 700 chipset, 50MP double cameras and an enormous battery.
The Play 40 Plus has a 6.74″ LCD with 720p resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. The screen has a little waterdrop notch on top for the 5MP selfie camera. The panel’s innovation doesn’t permit fingerprint scanners under, meaning the sensor is on the side, over the power key.
The main camera is coupled by a 2MP depth sensor, while the selfie camera has a 5MP sensor. Design wise, Honor chose to follow the double circle arrangement from the number series with covering rings yet just on the colored versions – the Black variation gets has a simple back.
The battery limit of the Play 40 Plus is 6,000 mAh, which is the greatest ever in an Honor cell phone. Charging goes to 22.5W, which puts it comparable to mid-rangers from the X series, like the X7 and X8. The UI is Magic UI 6.1, in light of Android 12. The phone comes in three memory mixes, two of them with 8GB RAM – storage is either 128GB or 256GB, and there is no microSD card opening. The more fundamental form has 6GB RAM and 128GB storage.
