Samsung is in the final stages of preparing for the unveiling of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5. As part of this process, the company is focusing on optimizing the device’s performance by conducting benchmark tests.
Recently, the global variant of the Galaxy Z Fold5 made an appearance on Geekbench. As anticipated, it is equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, 12GB of RAM, and runs on Android 13. This marks the second time that a Galaxy Z Fold5 has been spotted on Geekbench, with the first instance reportedly being the North American model.
Scheduled to launch alongside the Galaxy Z Flip5, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5 is expected to arrive in late July. It will feature a new hinge design that allows the phone to close completely flat. Additionally, the Galaxy Z Fold5 is rumored to be slightly lighter than its predecessor, the Galaxy Z Fold4. It may also offer improved dust protection and enhanced camera capabilities.
