The Samsung Galaxy XCover7, a rugged smartphone unveiled last month, has been officially launched in Asia, marking the debut of the XCover series in the region. Available in two versions, Standard and Enterprise, the smartphone is priced at ($325/€305/PKR89860.35) and ($330/€310/PKR91242.82), respectively.
Both models share identical specifications but differ in warranty durations. The Standard variant comes with a 1-year warranty, while the Enterprise model offers a 2-year warranty along with a 12-month Knox Suite subscription.
Customers opting for the Standard version have the option to separately purchase the Knox subscription and additional warranty. However, this would result in a higher cost than the Enterprise model, considering an extra 1-year warranty costs ($22/€20/PKR6082.85), and a 12-month Knox Suite subscription costs ($42/€40/PKR11612.72). Thus, the Enterprise version emerges as a more cost-effective choice.
Both versions will be available for purchase through Samsung website, catering to corporates and institutions. Bulk purchase inquiries can be directed to the designated portal. In terms of hardware, both the Standard and Enterprise variants of the Samsung Galaxy XCover7 feature the Dimensity 6100+ SoC and run on Android 14-based One UI 6.
Equipped with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, expandable up to 1TB via a microSD card, both models sport 6.6″ FullHD+ LCDs with Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection and enhanced sensitivity to accommodate usage even with gloves.
The Samsung Galaxy XCover7 boasts a 50MP primary camera and a 5MP selfie camera. Powering the device is a 4,050 mAh removable battery with 15W charging (adapter not included). Noteworthy features include an IP68 rating, MIL-STD-810H certification, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a programmable XCover Key for customizable shortcuts, and a POGO charging pin.
