Recently, the much-anticipated Samsung Galaxy A25, which has been the subject of ongoing speculation for months, has surfaced in official-looking renders. As we eagerly await an official announcement from Samsung regarding its launch, additional images of this smartphone have emerged, validating prior design leaks.
Several Swiss online retailers have now showcased the Samsung Galaxy A25 on their platforms, revealing the smartphone’s images, pricing details, and slated sale date. Priced at CHF279 ($315/€290/INR26,330) in Switzerland, the device is scheduled for release between December 7 and December 19, 2023.
These retail listings have also disclosed key specifications of the Samsung Galaxy A25. The phone will be powered by the Exynos 1280 SoC and will run on Android 14-based One UI 6. It will be available in either a 6GB/128GB or 8GB/256GB configuration, the choice varying by country. Notably, both versions will include a microSD card slot enabling storage expansion up to 1TB.
Featuring a 6.5-inch 120Hz FullHD+ OLED display and rumored to support 25W charging, the Samsung Galaxy A25 will house a robust 5,000mAh battery. Its camera setup is expected to comprise a 50MP primary lens (with OIS), an 8MP ultrawide lens, a 2MP macro lens, and a 13MP front-facing camera for selfies.
Moreover, the Samsung Galaxy A25 will boast additional functionalities such as 5G connectivity, USB-C support, a 3.5mm headphone jack, NFC capability, and Bluetooth 5.1. It will also incorporate a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for secure biometric authentication.
