Realme V50 and V50s Specs Seen Online
Two Realme smartphones received certification from China Telecom, showcasing nearly indistinguishable features. Both the V50 and V50s boast matching specifications, memory configurations, and prices, differing only in their model numbers.
These versions, seemingly intended for distinct regional markets within China, represent entry-level choices equipped with a dual-camera setup on the rear. Sporting a Mediatek 6100+ chipset that enables 5G connectivity, the Realme V50/V50s offers three RAM variants and two storage options, categorized into three pricing tiers.
The duo’s display measures 6.72 inches, utilizing an LCD panel with Full HD+ resolution and a single punch hole for the 8 MP front camera. While the rear dual cameras are reported to consist of a 13 MP primary sensor paired with a 2 MP secondary sensor, details regarding the purpose of the latter (whether for portrait or macro shots) remain unspecified.
Further specifications include a USB-C port, a 3.5 mm audio jack, and a microSD slot supporting expandable storage of up to 256 GB. Realme is anticipated to market the V50 and V50s at CNY1,199 ($170/€155) for the 4/128 GB variant, CNY1,499 ($210/€190) for 6/128 GB, or CNY1,799 ($250/€230) for 8/256 GB. However, the official launch date for these phones in China is yet to be disclosed.
