With the OnePlus Nord 2 nearing its two-year mark next month, it’s about time for its successor to emerge, and it seems that time is rapidly approaching. Leaked official-looking press renders of the upcoming Nord 3 have surfaced, indicating that the launch may be imminent. The Nord 3 is showcased in two color options – the signature OnePlus blue/green/teal hue and a more traditional dark gray/black variant.
According to rumors, the Nord 3 could be a rebranded version of the OnePlus Ace 2V, a device that debuted in China in March. If this holds true, we can expect the Nord 3 to feature a 6.74-inch 120Hz 1240×2772 display with Asahi Glass protection, a triple rear camera setup (comprising a 64MP main camera, 8MP ultrawide lens, and 2MP macro lens), a 16MP front-facing camera, and a 5,000mAh battery with support for 80W wired charging.
Under the hood, the OnePlus Nord 3 is said to be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9000 SoC, coupled with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It is expected to run Android 13 with OxygenOS 13 on top, provided it is indeed a rebranded Ace 2V.
Unfortunately, the OnePlus Nord 3 won’t be available in Germany due to an ongoing patent dispute between parent company Oppo and Nokia. However, it is anticipated to be released in other European countries “in the coming days,” as indicated by a typically reliable source of this leak.
