Ahead of its official unveiling, the Nothing Phone (2a) has once again surfaced, this time making an appearance in an AnTuTu 10 benchmark listing, providing enthusiasts with a sneak peek into its potential raw power. However, it’s crucial to approach benchmark leaks cautiously, recognizing that the device in question is likely a pre-release model, and its performance may not be entirely indicative of the real-world capabilities of a commercially available unit.
The AnTuTu 10 listing for the Phone (2a) showcases an impressive combined score of 738,164, breaking down into 236,788 points on the CPU test, 180,516 points on the GPU assessment, 137,288 points on the memory portion, and 183,572 points in the UX department. Notably, the Phone (2a) is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chipset, marking its position among the upcoming midrange contenders.
In the benchmark shot, two additional devices are visible, including the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ in the middle, also featuring the same Dimensity 7200 chip as the Phone (2a), and a OnePlus Nord CE 3 on the right, both trailing behind Nothing’s upcoming midrange offering in terms of scores.
Recent leaks regarding the Phone (2a) indicate a robust feature set, including a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The device is expected to house a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chipset, paired with configurations of 8/12GB RAM and 128/256GB storage options. The camera department is anticipated to be highlighted by a 50MP Samsung ISOCELL S5KGN9 main shooter and a 50MP ISOCELL JN1 ultrawide lens. Moreover, the Phone (2a) is set to support 45W fast charging and will debut with Android 14 and Nothing OS 2.5.
As for pricing, rumors suggest a starting point of €349 for the base 8/128GB variant, while the more capacious 12/256GB version is expected to be priced at €399.
