Xiaomi’s highly anticipated Xiaomi 14 Ultra smartphone is set to make its debut in China on February 22, with a global unveiling scheduled at MWC Barcelona on February 25. While official images have already showcased the device in black and white variants, a recent revelation introduces a third launch color – an enticing blue hue.
The new blue variant boasts a matte finish, complemented by a color-matched frame, and rumors suggest it may feature a ceramic coating on the back. In contrast, the white and black iterations seem to sport a vegan leather back, reminiscent of last year’s Xiaomi 13 Ultra. The diversity in color options enhances the device’s aesthetic appeal, offering users more choices to suit their preferences.
According to the latest leaks, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra is poised to impress with a 6.73-inch AMOLED display featuring a 1440p resolution and a high 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it will house a powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset paired with a substantial 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and an impressive 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage.
Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the quad 50MP Leica-branded cameras on the rear, showcasing top-notch hardware. The primary sensor, a Sony LYT-900, boasts a variable aperture ranging from f/1.63 to f/4.0. Additionally, two telephoto modules equipped with Sony IMX858 sensors offer 3.2x and 5x optical zoom capabilities, while the fourth module features a 12mm equivalent ultrawide lens with an expansive 122-degree field of view.
Powering the Xiaomi 14 Ultra is a robust 5,300 mAh battery, supporting 90W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. This combination of cutting-edge features and innovative design elements positions the Xiaomi 14 Ultra as a flagship contender, promising an immersive user experience and high-end performance when it hits the market later this month.
