In November 2022, the Honor Magic Vs was initially unveiled for the Chinese market, followed by its global debut in February 2023 at MWC in Barcelona. Today, Honor announced that the foldable device is finally making its way to the United Kingdom, carrying a price tag of £1,399.
Starting from May 19, the Honor Magic Vs will be available for purchase on the company’s website in Cyan and Black color options. A week later, it will also be sold on Amazon, Argos, and Very, though only the latter will offer the Black color variant. Additionally, according to the official press release, Three, a carrier in the UK, will begin offering the Magic Vs in early June, along with 6 months of free airtime on Unlimited data plans.
As one of the first foldable devices to venture beyond China, the Honor Magic Vs aims to challenge Samsung’s dominance in this field. Our review in March highlighted impressive battery life and charging capabilities, while the chipset proved to be more than capable of handling demanding tasks.
However, Honor is still working on refining the software to fully utilize the extensive external screen of the device. Nonetheless, the Honor Magic Vs stands out as one of the lightest foldables currently available. With its excellent camera experience, it may well justify its price tag, which can be reduced to £1,199 if you subscribe to a newsletter and complete the purchase before May 26.
