The Motorola Edge 40 Pro was announced approximately a month ago, but the standard Edge 40 did not receive a similar announcement. However, leaked images and a promo video have surfaced, providing insight into the device’s features. The standard Edge 40 resembles the Pro model, but only has two cameras on the back.
According to the leaks, the phone will come in black, green, and red versions, with vegan leather casing. The promo video also indicates that the device will feature the widest aperture on a smartphone, potentially IP68 waterproof protection, a curved display design, and Dolby Atmos-tuned stereo speakers.
Based on the rumors, the phone is expected to be the first device powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 8020, supporting a 6.55-inch OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. The phone will be powered by a 4,400 mAh battery with support for 68W fast charging.
