The iQOO Neo 9 Pro, initially introduced in China last December with a Dimensity 9300 chipset and a 144 Hz LPTPO AMOLED display, has now made its global debut, starting with its launch in Asia. A notable distinction between the two versions lies in the chipset, with the global variant opting for Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC.
At the core of the Neo 9 Pro is a 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED display boasting a resolution of 1,260 x 2,800 pixels and an impressive 144Hz refresh rate. The panel achieves a rated peak brightness of 3,000 nits and incorporates a 16MP front-facing camera along with an in-display fingerprint scanner. The device exhibits a stylish dual-tone design, featuring a vegan leather back housing a 50MP main camera (IMX920 VCS) and an 8MP ultrawide lens.
Powering the Neo 9 Pro is a substantial 5,160mAh battery complemented by a swift 120W fast charging capability. On the software front, the device runs on Funtouch OS 14 based on Android 14. iQOO is committed to providing users with an extended support period, promising 3 years of Android version updates and a commendable 4 years of security patches.
The iQOO Neo 9 Pro is available in captivating Fiery Red and Conqueror Black color options. The pricing for the 8/128GB variant begins at ($410/PKR114595.00) and is set to hit the market on March 21. Furthermore, the 8/256GB and 12/256GB configurations will be available for open sale starting tomorrow at 12 PM iQOO’s official online store. As this global version emerges on the international scene, it brings an amalgamation of high-end features and an assurance of extended software support to cater to the diverse needs of smartphone enthusiasts.
