However, there’s some ambiguity due to machine translation, and the accompanying image doesn’t offer clarity either. There’s debate about whether this texture will be genuine wood or a material like plastic or glass designed to simulate a wood-like texture.

In the past, OnePlus has offered cases with wood textures for certain devices and even provided removable wood texture backs for its inaugural smartphone, the OnePlus One. It’s possible that this move to incorporate wood with the OnePlus 12 is a tribute to the company’s initial model.
