Samsung Galaxy A50 was released in March 2, 2019. It operates under Android 9.0 (Pie). Its display screen is 6.4 in inches and 1625.6 in millimeters. Its resolution is 2340x1080 (FHD+) that is 403 pixels per inch. It uses Super AMOLED technology for display. The front panel is made up of glass and the back frame of the phone is made up of plastic. It weighs 166 in grams. The edges of the phone are round so it is very easy to carry it.

It has triple main / rear cameras, first camera is 25 mega pixels, second camera is of 8 mega pixels and third camera is of 5 mega pixels with LED flash. Front camera which is 25 mega pixels. The camera also detects flaws in the pictures like; eye blink, if the picture got blur or if the backlite is cutting the light. After it detects flaw it suggests to turn on HDR mode.

This phone’s processing speed is clocked up to Octa-core (4x2.3Ghz Cortex-A73 & 4x1.7Ghz Cortex-A53). It uses Exynos 9610 chipset.

The battery runs according to different battery usages: it gives 15 hours of using internet data connection, it gives 19 hours of using internet over wi-fi, while playing video it gives battery life up to 20 hours, playing audio it gives battery life up to 100 hours and while talk time it gives battery life up to 25 hours. The battery cannot be removed by the user.

It doesn’t have a home button but the fingerprint sensor is embedded on the bottom of the phone. It has a power button on right side of the phone and 2 volume keys on right side of the phone.

This phone also features Bixby. To activate Bixby, you need to have an internet connection and just, ‘Bixby’.
